Coverage Period

  • Yafa Pen Company products are guaranteed for a period of one year from date of purchase against any defect in workmanship and materials. 

What’s Covered

  • Yafa will repair or replace, at your option, any product that is found to be defective in materials or workmanship when it is properly returned to the Yafa repair department. Any product that is no longer in production, and cannot be repaired, will be replaced with a comparable Yafa product of your choice.

  • Example: cracks, nib/feed misalignment, piston mechanism issues

What’s Not Covered

  • This guarantee does not cover normal wear, including scratches, used fountain pen nibs, and refills of any kind.

  • Products (including nibs) that have been lost,

  • Products altered, broken, or damaged by misuse, accident, failure to follow instructions, or improper service or repair by any other than the Yafa repair department. 

  • Consumables (ink, cartridges, refills)

Proof of Purchase

  • Original receipt or order confirmation required

  • Warranty applies only to authorized retailer purchases

Who to Contact

  • Within 30 days of purchase: Contact Goulet Pens for replacement/refund

  • After 30 days: Contact Yafa Pen Company 

How to File a Claim

  1. Provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt, etc.)

  2. Include your name, mailing address, phone and an email.  State briefly the issue you want addressed with pen.

    The pen will be evaluated by a Conklin® authorized person to determine if the needed repairs are covered by the warranty.

    It is the option of Yafa Pen Company to repair or replace your product.

    If your pen is not covered by the warranty, a repair estimate with be sent to you. We request you respond as soon as possible. If accepted, a credit card or check will be required prior to the repair being done

  3. Ship the product to the manufacturer (shipping costs may apply)

  4. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for repair process.
